Endometrial volume and thickness were measured in 20 women undergoing in vitro fertilization on the day before the embryo transfer and one week later by three-dimensional ultrasound. The endometrial volume increase was higher in the 8 pregnant women (0.70 cm(3) at least) than in the 12 nonpregnant women (0.21 cm(3) at most). Published 20 September 2007 in Fertil Steril.
